Best and fast impl of save/close ribbon buttons

Hi!

First of all, thanks for such a good library - it's quite helpful.

So, the idea is about the best implementation of standart save/close buttons which we can see almost on every page. Is there any OOTB features in fluent ribbon API or it isn't such a common case to be implemented? Any ideas?

Thanks for your input!

I have ControlsLibrary class under FluentRibbon.Libraries namespace. I can place methods for generating such button definitions where, so you can use them following way:

ControlLibrary.StandardButtons.ListForm_Edit.Commit_Cancel("alert('my Cancel button')");

This will allow to specify custom command javascript. And besides of the Save and Close buttons, there can be bunch of other standard buttons, like New Item, Delete, Undo, etc.

Will it do?

avishnyakov, the described functionality is available starting from the 1fbb337dab6a changeset (dated 9.01.2012 1:47 AM), and will be released within the 1.4 release.

Good luck and feel free to ask any further questions!
